Cervical Cancer

CERVICAL CANCER ELIMINATION

WHAT IS CERVICAL CANCER

Cervical cancer is a PREVENTABLE THREAT! “An uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the cervix, the lower and narrower part of the uterus that connects to the vagina”

From Awareness to Action: Our HPV Initiative Knowledge is the first line of prevention. Through our HPV awareness seminars and educational workshops, we work to transform reliable health information into meaningful community action.

  • Educating communities about HPV and cervical cancer.
  • Promoting awareness of HPV vaccination and cervical screening.
  • Addressing myths, misconceptions and stigma through evidence-based education.
  • Encouraging early healthcare-seeking and informed preventive decisions.
Breaking the Silence. Protecting the Future.

Cervical cancer prevention begins with open conversations, accurate information and access to preventive care.

  • Awareness helps communities understand that cervical cancer is largely preventable.
  • HPV vaccination protects against major cancer-causing HPV types.
  • Screening can identify cervical changes before they develop into cancer.
  • WHO's 90–70–90 strategy aims for 90% HPV vaccination, 70% screening and 90% appropriate treatment to move countries toward elimination.
Talk. Educate. Vaccinate. Screen. Prevent.

• When knowledge reaches communities, prevention becomes possible—and lives can be protected.
